George E. Sullivan
1901-1952

ONEIDA — George E. Sullivan, 50 of 134 Philip, Oneida, died May 7, 1952 at his home. He was born Nov, 10, 1901, in Irish Ridge, Town of Verona, a son of Michael and Ann Goodman Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was an employee of the New York State Department of Highways. He leaves five sisters, Miss Catherine Sullivan and Mrs. Frank Creedon, both of Oneida; Mrs. Thomas Tyrrell, Rome; Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne of Durhamville and Mrs. James Kelley of Utica; and a brother John L. Sullivan of Durhamville.

The funeral will be from the home of his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne of Durhamville at 9 Saturday and from St. Francis Church at 9:30 where a solemn requiem high Mass will be celebrated, Burial will be in Irish Ridge Cemetery.


Eternal rest grant unto him, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
