Utica Herald Dispatch January 7, 1915 Mrs. Anna Brennan, widow of James Brennan, died yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock in her home, 960 Bleecker street, following an illness of about a week’s duration, death being caused by erysipelas . She was born in Ireland 58 years ago and came to this country at the age of two years. She made her home in Verona and had lived there until 1901, when she came to Utica. She married Mr. Brennan in Verona 41 years ago. He died 20 years ago. She was a member of St. Agnes’s Church and took an active interest in its affairs. She leaves three sons, Edward, Leo, and James all of this city, and four brothers, John of Rome, Edward of Oneida, William and Walter of Durhamville.
Eternal rest grant unto them, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them. May they rest in peace. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
