MRS. NORA A. KELLY -Mrs. Kelly Succumbs In Utica Mrs. James F. (Nora A.) Kelly, 1029 Kellogg St., Utica, died at Faxton Hospital, Utica, this morning after a long illness. She was born in Irish Ridge, Oct. 9, 1899, daughter of Michael and Anna Goodman Sullivan, and moved to Oneida when 16 years old. She went to New York City, and from 1917 to 1926 she was in charge of the Oneida Ltd., office in New York City. From 1926 to 1933, she was in Great Barrington, Mass., and went back to New York City in 1933. In 1949, she came to Utica to live. She and James F. Kelly were married in 1926 in New York City. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Utica, its Guild, a charter member of the National Association, for Retarded Children. Surviving besides her husband, there are two sons, James A., Utica, and Navy Lt. Michael J., Washington, D. C., three sister, Mrs. Abigail Tyrrell, Rome, Mrs. Alice Creedon, Oneida, and Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne, Durhamville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St. Utica, and at 10 at Sacred Heart Church, Utica. Burial will be in Irish Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.


Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
